Welcome

The Glen Iris Road Uniting Church Community Centre was built in 2006 and complies with modern building, disability and safety standards. It has six different sized rooms suitable for regular community meetings and other activities, or for one-off community events. There is parking for thirty cars off site, with other parking available nearby. For our location and public transport information - click here.

Application forms for hiring are available on this page and charges are available on application.

The Centre is not available for private parties.

Although application forms to hire rooms are attached below we expect you to visit the Centre and talk to us before assuming your booking has been confirmed.

To book a room/s for one occasion you will need to:

• Complete an Application for Occasional Hire of Space & Conditions of Hire
• Show evidence of current public liability insurance cover for your event; alternatively you can purchase Hirers Public Liability Insurance cover for one day from the Uniting Church in Australia through the Centre Office
• Provide a bond
• Pay the cost of the room hire in advance

To book a room/s for a regular booking you will need to:

• Complete an Application for Regular Hire of Space & Conditions of Hire
• Show evidence of current public liability insurance cover for your activity
• Enter into a Licence Agreement for the Non Exclusive Use of Church Buildings for Up to 12 Months with the Uniting Church in Australia
• Provide a bond for the duration of your time at the Centre
• Pay invoices within 14 days of receipt for the hire of the room/s you occupy
